Autodafè is an art installation conceived and created by Guido Ballatori and Silvia Luciani, in collaboration with Graziano Gregorio.
The sound score is created using several pyre’s recordings.
They are organized into two listening states: a diegetic one, and a second extradiegetic which is revealed using a slow fade in. It intends to narrate the sentence to death of the underclasses culture by the modern society.
The book used for the installation was an old farmer manual.
